This DIY room project candle is an easy craft to make and most importantly it costs less than $10.00 to do! All the supplies you may need to buy are at Michael’s or most craft stores.
What you need:
- Waxed wicks
- Hot glue gun
- Corn syrup
- Water
- Small paintbrush
- Rainbow sprinkles
- Soy wax/ cupcake scented wax
- Measuring cup
- Hot glue the wicks into the mason jars
- In a bowl mix the corn syrup with water and coat the inside of the mason jar with the paint brush
- Holding the jar horizontally add a spoonful of sprinkles and rotate the jar slowly covering the jar in sprinkles
- Melt the soy wax with the cupcake scented wax in a double boiler then pour the wax inside the mason jars once melted
- Store in the freezer until wax is completely solid
Now you may be skeptical but this actually works. Once
created you can enjoy the smells of freshly baked funfetti cake all the time! Just beware: you may be disappointing visitors when they
think that you’re ‘actually’ baking a cake! Enjoy!!!
